How it works, and why it's different.

The Hamilton Framework

Most programs take the habit away and leave you with the hole it was filling.

The Hamilton Framework works out what the pattern was doing for you, builds something that does that job instead, and only then asks it to go.

Why most approaches don't hold

If you've tried to change a habit before and it didn't last, there's a good chance you concluded something about yourself that isn't true. Willpower isn't the missing piece. Understanding is.

Support, Not pressure.

Meaningful change is more sustainable when people feel genuinely understood, supported and empowered. Awareness creates choice. Choice creates possibility. Support creates sustainable change.

The 5 Rs

Every pathway follows the same five stages, in the same order.

1. Recognition

Understanding what the pattern has been doing for you, without judging yourself for it. This isn't a warm-up. For most people, it's the most important stage.

2. Regulation

Building steadiness in your nervous system, so you can respond to triggers rather than react to them. This is where the space between cue and response starts to open up.

3. Reconnection

Building something that does the job the habit was doing, and rebuilding your sense of who you are beyond the pattern.

4. Reinforcement

The practices that carry change through the unexciting middle, and a way back in, without judgement, if things slip.

5. Renewal

The pattern can go, because it's no longer needed. What opens up is the life on the other side.

The Change Archetype System

Everyone grows differently.

The five Change Archetypes are named after Australian trees, because the way a tree grows is a good picture of how people change: gradually, in response to its conditions, and in its own shape.

There's no better or worse archetype.

Knowing yours means your pathway can be shaped around how you naturally grow.

The Archetype trees:

Willow: needs space to understand before acting

River Red Gum: needs a clear, steady structure

Jacaranda: needs a process that keeps revealing something new

Banksia: needs an approach that works with your history

Paperbark: needs clarity and predictability

The Pathway Structure

Every pathway follows the same shape:

  • A short orientation to help you settle in, then five modules guided by the 5Rs.
  • You move through them at your own pace, so the program fits around your life rather than the other way round.

Each module includes

  • A short video introduction, to set the scene for what's ahead.
  • A downloadable workbook, to help you understand your own patterns and what they've been doing for you.
  • A guided hypnosis session, to help new ways of responding start to feel natural.

Throughout your pathway

  • SMS check-ins to support you between modules.
  • Your Archetype Guide, so everything you learn is shaped around your natural growth style.
  • Full access to the Resource Library.

Each pathway comes in two tiers

  • Self-Guided lets you work through everything at your own pace.
  • Premium adds five 1:1 consultations with Simone, timed to each stage of your modules.

Why I built this...

For more than twenty years, I've worked with people who are capable, thoughtful and good at managing almost everything in their lives, except 'this one thing'. Most of them had tried to change before, often more than once. And when it didn't last, they usually decided the problem was them.

It almost never was. What I saw again and again was that the habit had been doing a job. It was managing stress, filling a gap or getting them through a hard season. Taking it away without building something to do that job instead left a hole, and the old pattern came back to fill it.

So I built The Hamilton Framework to work the other way round: understand what the pattern has been doing for you, build the replacement first, and only then ask it to go. It's structured, it's shaped around how you naturally grow, and it's built on support, not pressure.

"When people genuinely understand what's driving a behaviour, the change that follows tends to be real."

— Simone Hamilton
